What they say:
Replacing the Bath Street watering hole Oscars Bar, the Bathtub and Co. cocktail bar arrives in the heart of Glasgow, offering wonderfully-weird gin-based cocktails, craft beers and a menu bursting full of flavour and creativity. Dynamic by nature and stocked full of the latest experimental creations of Britain's master brewers, it'll serve over forty different types of gin and boast a list of intriguing, albeit slightly daunting cocktails. From seaweed gin and elderflower tonic to orange-chilli cocktails, the word 'quirky' really doesn't do this metropolitan hotspot justice.
What we say:
A new, quirky cocktail bar is never a bad thing in a fast-paced city like Glasgow. As the heart of Scotland and with a number of different cultures and traditions, the city is constantly being twisted, modified and transformed. Although it may split opinion, let's face it, the weird flavour combinations of their cocktails and masterful mixing of spirits will definitely draw the crowds to this quaint spot. The biggest challenge for the team at Bathtub and Co will be maintaining its appeal after the initial honey-moon period ends. If it can do this, it'll definitely rise up Glasgow's prestigious nightlife ladder.
