The first time you visit The Ferry in Glasgow's City Centre is a truly surreal experience. This unique Glasgow bar is like nothing you have ever seen before in the city. Imagine if a Las Vegas show, a family restaurant and a London night club all joined forces on the Titanic and you'll have a rough idea what this boat-slash-bar is all about. Docked on the banks of the River Clyde, The Ferry is, true to it's name, a former passenger ship with two decks, a mezzanine and views up and down the river. On the outside it looks something like a floating conservatory, while inside the decor is contemporary and stylish. 

In the daytime the set-up is perfect to have a chilled out tipple while taking in the scene. By night however,  this place really comes alive. A fantastic set of lights casts a breath-taking view of the city and the water and each night a different live act is playing to the crowds of after work drinkers and diners that flood (not literally) in once they have clocked out of the office. From real-life stars like Candi Staton to (almost!) better than the real thing tribute acts, like Wham Bam Rocketman (a tribute to George Michael and Elton John), there's something for everyone at this fun music venue, party bar in Glasgow. The Ferry also offers great food and gig deals so you can save money while grabbing some pre show snacks or dinner. This City Centre bar is also a great romantic location for a first date, fun office party or even a quirky wedding reception, as the full boat is available for hire. The Ferry is a cool and quirky bar in Glasgow and definitely not an experience to be missed.
