A shoddy-chic bar on Bath Street, Lucky 7 Canteen is a slice of cool and cosy, among its more commercial city centre neighbours. Cool kids and trendy professionals gather in high-backed booths made of salvaged-style wood or along a cool, communal bench which runs down the centre of the bar. A log wall filled with love heart messages makes for a sweet addition, as does the peeling Nana's-house wallpaper and tea towel napkins. You'd almost miss beautiful original features like stone pillars and ornate cornicing among all the rustic elements and whimsical features. 

A small cocktail menu offers twists on classics with drinks like Orange and Lime Caprioska or Apple and Cucumber Collins while at the bar a decent wine selection sits alongside some choice draught and bottled brews. Quirky private hire options are available if you're looking for a special evening in an unpretentious venue. The music here is a cool blend of ambient beach bar music as well as some retro mixes and house beats, making this a chilled hangout by day, and a fun, bustling bar by night.
