A Quirky Art Deco Bar Serving Up Irn-Bru Cocktails Is Coming To Sauchiehall Street This Summer

The revival of Sauchiehall Street is well and truly under way with the launch of a snazzy 1930s-style cocktail bar, nightclub and all-day eatery. Set over three floors in the former Beresford Hotel, one of the city’s most recognisable buildings, Beresford Lounge has big shoes to fill.

To honour its heritage, the Glaswegian landmark has been revamped with glamorous Art Deco décor. Expect elegant ceiling lights, geometric furniture, bold colours and walls adorned with stunning artwork. But you’re not just in for a treat for the eyes, oh no - just check out what they’re serving up in the kitchen.

In another nod to its legacy, the team behind the venue have developed an all-day brunch menu with the locals in mind. Think sandwiches, shakshuka, eggs benedict, artisan coffee and more. But that’s not all. You’ll also find well-prepared cocktail classics, such as bloody marys, as well as their own creations - notably the Irn-Bru ramos. If that’s not to your fancy, nay worry as they also have a small but fantastic selection of modern beers.
