Description
Driftwood is a lively bar on Sauchiehall Street that's popular with students and young professionals for it's cheap drinks and tasty fair. Known to many in Glasgow for it's ragged wooden signage, inside the bar is a rough and ready Mexican style restaurant bar. Dishing up tasty platters from the kitchen, along with fajitas, loaded fries, munchie boxes and even some Buckfast-glazed chicken strips, the bar serves up cheap drinks, with vodka mixes a popular choice among prudent partrons.
Heaving most evenings of the week with pre-drinkers in for bites before a night on the tiles in Glasgow City Centre, Driftwood is the unofficial pre-party destination for The Garage up the road. Fun, friendly and lively, if you're looking for a no-frills bar and restaurant to set you up for the night ahead, Driftwood will sort you out and then some.
