Open 'til the early hours seven nights a week, Nice 'n' Sleazy is a Sauchiehall Street bar and club that caters to the weird and the wonderful among Glasgow's clubberatti.
With nights like Incredibly Strange Film Night and Weirdo Wednesdays, more creative and eclectic tastes are catered to. Particularly popular with students from the nearby College of Art as well as those looking for a pocket of niche in Glasgow's ever-growing bar scene, resident and guest DJs pump out everything from garage, dubstep, grime and house, to the occasional bout of rock 'n' roll, RnB, soul and new wave.
With a cool, dive bar style, the bar upstairs is themed a little like a sixties casino bar that's seen better days, with dim red lighting and diamonds, spades and hearts for decor. Downstairs is a nifty little retro dance hall, where ticketed DJs and live acts often play. Regular drinks promos make for a purse friendly party; black and white Russians are the house speciality. Whether you want to pop it likes it hot, or pop a hot dog, this is a gritty little spot that's been home to Glasgow's underground cool kids (and the not so kiddish) for more than two decades.
