The Butchershop Bar & Grill in the Finnieston section of Sauchiehall Street is a New York-style restaurant and cocktail bar with neighbourhood vibes. Restaurateur, James Rusk, learned his craft at famed and acclaimed NY eatery, Balthazar and decided to bring a slice of Soho to Sauchiehall Street. The stylish, urban decor features exposed brickwork, low hanging lights and studded leather seating with jazz and soul music creating the backdrop to a venue already bustling with clinking cutlery and cheery banter. 

Food takes centre stage here with a mouthwatering selection of aged Scottish steaks, as well as seafood options and an incredible list of sides. Tuesday nights are particularly popular with Burger vs Steak evenings, with two mains and a bottle of wine for £30. At the bar are a serious selection of grown-up cocktails that wouldn't seem out of place across the Atlantic. Aperitif and digestif cocktails go down easy either side of dinner, while accomplished twists on Yankie favourites include a Ginger Mint Julep and a Maple and Cinnamon Old Fashioned and fizzy concoctions add extra sparkle to proceedings. The wine list is both extensive and thorough, and delightful staff will guide you through.
