Description
Steampunk Cafe is a very cool, themed bar in Glasgow that draws its theme from its name. Steampunk is a sub-genre that pulls inspiration from the Victorian era and the Wild West and brings it into the future, in all its steam-powered, clockwork glory - think Wild Wild West meets a futuristic industrial revolution.
Steampunk Cafe is modelled on something between a gentleman's billiard room, a speakeasy and a saloon, with dark woods, gilded mirrors, chandeliers, Chesterfield couches and vintage pool tables. Pulling in Victorian and Edwardian decor the new Drury Street bar will be an emporium of oddities, with cabaret, cocktails and lots of by-gone twists. An eclectic roster of events is set to include cabaret nights, magic shows, fortune telling and DJ sets, while refreshments promise decadent bespoke cocktails and fine street food fare.
