1 review - Restaurant Bar
Description
The Left Bank is a West End bar that's big on style and low on pretension. A really nicely designed venue, with exposed brick walls, solid wood features, warm lighting, comfy seating and a cool concrete bar. Despite the sleek surroundings, the bar staff are incredibly warm, and the vibes here are always fun and friendly. The chilled out atmosphere attracts a stylish, but laid-back young professional crowd, while couples and small groups avail of the various nooks dotted around the split-level building.
The kitchen delivers a vast selection of international fare with lengthy breakfast, lunch and evening options offering everything from Mississippi ribs and Mexican eggs to Scottish seafood and Thai soup. Drinks include a substantial wine list as well as an attractive cocktail menu that goes heavy on the martinis and sours. Occasional live music guests amp up the atmosphere, with jazz and blues house favourites.
