Ginesi’s Artisian Gelato is a traditional Italian ice cream
parlour located on the south side of Glasgow in the Queens Park
area. This iconic ice cream parlour has been serving Glaswegians
the delicious scoop for more than 100 years. The ice cream is
freshly made daily using only the finest ingredients including
Scottish single herd farm milk and cream, and offers both vegan and
dairy-free options. The old-school favourite is a classic vanilla
cone topped with raspberry sauce. Despite being a modest ice cream
shop, it offers a wide range of gelato flavours, including Scottish
Butter Tablet, Salted Caramel Pretzels, Turkish Delight and Oreo
cookies and cream.

including on Sauchiehall Street and one on Byres Road in the west

over-the-top creations. The Kinder Bueno is a combination of both
Kinder and vanilla ice cream layered and topped with Kinder Bueno

ready to open in the Queen’s Park area, Loop & Scoop is a popular
dessert bar to visit any time of the year. As well as serving
over-the-top milkshakes and churros, Loop & Scoop also offers
gelato in a range of many flavours. The gelato is handmade in small
batches using the secret Italian recipe, which has been preserved
since 1925 with the best local, natural and sustainable
ingredients. As the gelato is made fresh each day, flavours differ.

Colpi

Colpi is the home of legendary, unique Scottish-Italian ice
cream and is made every day in the leafy suburb of Milngavie to a
100-year-old traditional Italian recipe. The ice cream is
handcrafted using full cream milk from Loch Lomond. The Colpi
experience was handed down from father to son since the Italian
immigration to Scotland in the 1890s and the original store
founder, Rodolfo Colpi first opened in 1928 remains the heart of
the Colpi experience. Ice cream cones, as well as nougat, oysters
and the classic snowball ice are also on offer.
