The Glasgow May bank holiday just got a whole lot better; as well as a three-day weekend there will also be a cracking new music festival taking place on Glasgow Green. WEST Brewery has teamed up with some of the city's best restaurants, food trucks and bars to create the two-day May West. Taking place on 27th and 28th May, the festival will also have a music stage with the likes of The Stranglers, Public Service Broadcasting, Ward Thomas, Turin Brakes and Roddy Hart all confirmed.
As well as beer from WEST Brewery, the festival will also serve local whisky and gins from the area, and a selection of food from The Kelbourne Saint, The Crafty Pig and West on the Green among others. The fun doesn't stop there; May Fest will also have entertainment in the form of opera, comedy and theatre. Looks like that's our bank holiday weekend sorted.
May Fest takes place on 27th and 28th May on Glasgow Green. Tickets cost £25 per day or £40 for the weekend.
