Rum brand Sailor Jerry are coming to Glasgow for a month's worth of epic events. The brand are taking over a warehouse space in Finnieston this February and transforming into the city's coolest joint. Inspired by the legendary tattoo artist Norman Collins, the spiced rum company will be recreating his retro style of artwork across the space, along with offering local artists the chance to collaborate - five pieces of submitted art work will be displayed in the building along with one artist winning a profile piece in Aesthetica Magazine.
Along with art, there will also be an amazing selection of live music, with Frank Carter performing an acoustic set on the grand opening (15th of February). Think you're the next big thing? On the 15th of March, the venue will be hosting 'Glasgow Unsigned' with the chance to record your own EP and shoot a music video. And of course, not forgetting the main attraction; the bar will be mixing punchy Sailor Jerry rum cocktails throughout the month.
Jerry's Open House will be located at 69 Houldsworth Street, Glasgow, G3 8GH from 15th of February - 15th of March. Tickets cost £5 and include two drinks and entry to the house.
