What they say:
Taking inspiration from New York's neo-speakeasy scene comes Tuxedo, a bar and club that brings '20s swing style to Merchant City. Located in a basement, the new venue aims to be a classy early evening bar and late-night clubbing spot with resident DJs along with regular guest spots. Along with a large bar, the venue also has leather booths, VIP suites and a dance floor and stays open until 3am on Fridays and Saturdays. As one of the only venues serving Blind Tiger Gin in Glasgow, the venue has a dedicated room to the stuff as well as a Rose Room which is available for private hire.
What we say:
We never need an excuse to head over to Merchant City for a party, but we've just found another one - the opening of Tuxedo. The new club and bar is enticing us in Thursday - Saturday from 4pm with crafty cocktails and a chilled bar, and keeping us until late with a dancefloor, DJs and two VIP suites. This new spot looks like it's going to be seriously stylish, with a smart dress code and dapper waiting staff.
