The O2 ABC Glasgow is a city centre nightclub and venue famous for its rollicking club nights and for attracting the best live acts in the biz. Located in a retro 19th century theatre, over the year it's been a dancehall, an ice-skating palace, a casino, a circus, and most recently, a cinema. A £2 million refit later, and while some of the picture house features remain, O2 ABC is a massive warehouse style club, with two rooms, four bars, high ceilings, minimal decor (aside of a disco ball of course) and plenty of room for some hardcore move busting.
As well as a who's who roster of live acts, ABC puts on some pumping club nights three nights a week, drawing a mix of trendies, students, and music fans. Not to be missed is the world (in)famous cool kid indie night, Propaganda, every Friday.
