An uber cool warehouse venue, SWG3 acts as a studio and gallery space to artists, poets and performers and regularly hosts huge name acts, with the adjoining Poetry Club adding to its roster. If you're into indie, electronic and house, then this is one for you.
With a cracking location in the city centre, The Garage is a legendary Sauchiehall Street haunt; with a roster of low-key club nights, a penchant for throwing some seriously fun parties and some of the best drink promos in Glasgow.
Kokomo boasts an impressive lineup of weekly events, complete with cheap drinks and innovative cocktails if you're looking for something a little swankier. Spread over two rooms, there's top tunes and friendly staff.
This may not look like your standard student club, but it attracts plenty of people looking for good music in a laid-back environment. Head here if you're after an alternative to commercial pop and big nightclubs.
Home to some seriously raucous parties, Bamboo hosts notoriously wild midweek bangers where students can let their hair down to top pop, hip-hop and dance music from resident DJs... and few celebrity guests too.
