What they say:
The Hope Bar & Eatery on Waterloo Street has decided to ramp things up a bit by undertaking a complete refurbishment, rename and rebrand. In its place, The Smokin' Fox opened this March, and while details are a little thin on the ground, the venue promises locally sourced and seasonal food along with a cracking drinks menu.
What we say:
Located opposite Glasgow Central Station, The Hope Bar & Eatery was a great spot for a pre-train pint or hearty dinner. They've decided to mix things up with a facelift; the quirky sounding The Smokin' Fox already has cool branding and bills itself as a pub and scullery. Expect the same great quality of food with local hearty dishes and food served throughout the day from breakfast all the way through to drinks and dinner.
