Description
Former Bloc chef, Mad Chef Danny McLaren is bringing a unique concept to Glasgow: the very first vegan burger restaurant.
Durty Vegan Burger Club has taken over The Cran in Finnieston and transformed the pop-up space into a nuclear-style eatery, complete with posters, hazard tape, bare light bulbs and exposed brick. Along with the quirky decor, there will be a party playlist and plans to use the space for yoga classes and live podcasts.
The real draw is the food; a gluttonous offering of vegan junk food, including stacked burgers, all served in recyclable containers and with ecological disposable cutlery. Drinks are low-sugar alternatives to classics, such as Green Cola, with the aim to create a party atmosphere without the need to drink.
