A sexy new restaurant has just opened up in Glasgow city centre, boasting glamourous interiors that would look fitting on any Instagram feed. Saying hello to Bothwell House.
Once you make your way through the black, unassuming double doors, you're met with a beautiful blossom tree that winds its way along the corridor, leading you to the stylish venue within. The dining room, a relaxed, laid-back space, features slick leather seating and gold pendant lights, contrasted by the luscious Swiss cheese plants that appear to be growing up the walls. But if you just fancy a few cocktails? Head over to the drinking area, which is just as pretty. Showcasing a pink blossom-entwined bar, candle-lit tables and gilded mirrors, it's ideal for intimate date nights.
You'll also be happy to hear that this joint whips up modern Scottish cuisine with a Mediterranean twist, such as Lebanese chicken burgers, Marrakesh curry and slow-cooked beef cheek pie. This lends itself to Bothwell House's boozy brunch offering too, with dishes like shakshuka and Spanish breakfasts available on the weekends. As for the drinks list, it showcases classic and signature cocktails, including the indulgent What Lies Beneath, made up of Plantation OFTD, Black Fire tequila, Nutella, honey and cream. Not for you? Then get your smackers around craft beers or wine instead.
