Description
Based in the heart of Glasgow, Ardnamurchan Restaurant and Bar is an eatery that focuses solely on showcasing the very finest Scottish herbs, meats and fresh fish with its ingredient-led menu.
The restaurant sits on Hope Street and, as you may have guessed from the name, is inspired by the west coast peninsula of Archnamurchan; the same area in which one of the owner's family has lived for over 10 generations.
Everything on the menu revolves around the finest Scottish ingredients that the chefs can get their hands on. That includes fresh cuts of game from the Ardnamurchan estate, seafood from Barra and Hebridean blue cheese. In keeping with the Scottish theme, the menu features a handful of traditional classics, such as Arran haggis, served with roasted vegetables and a Ben Nevis whisky sauce, but also offers dishes with more of a contemporary feel. Think squid with a Szechuan pepper and sriracha mayo.
