Description
The pioneering Japanese restaurant Benihana is set to open its first Scottish location on Glasgow's West Nile Street. The restaurant will have space for more than 100, with nine teppan tables so that diners can watch their food being cooked right in front of their eyes.
The restaurant is based on the popular Japanese style of cooking which uses an iron griddle. The Scottish outpost will also have a separate bar area with a selection of sake, small dishes and a cocktail list curated by famous The Cocktail Professor. When it comes to interiors, Benihana Glasgow will be keeping things minimal, with stand-out pieces created from timber and anime wall graphics.
