Description
Nestled just off of Argyle Street, Rafa's is bringing a taste of Mexico to Finnieston.
A tiny nine-seater eatery, the restaurant has taken inspiration from Arizona's spin on the Central American cuisine, serving up popular offerings in the form of burritos, tacos, quesadillas and nachos. However, it's the quirky fillings that really distinguish this place from its fellow Glasgow dining spots. The kitchen will have you tucking into confit pork butt, deep-fried tofu brined in seaweed and skirt steak-laden dishes, alongside toppings such as guacamole, cheese, rice and beans. Whilst it's waiting to receive its drinks licence, Rafa's is BYOB, allowing you to pick your booze of choice to accompany your mouthwatering meal.
In terms of interiors, the pocket-sized haunt is kitted out with a few fittingly-themed adornments, including tequila bottle candle holders, brightly coloured wall frames and bold plant pots. There's also a window into the kitchen so you can watch as your food is created in front of your eyes.
