Taking over the space that was once home to The Lansdowne Bar & Kitchen, Mother India has expanded its south Asian empire once again. The entrance may still bear the name of The Lansdowne, but this is something new altogether. Expect leafy walls, wicker chairs and an airy interior.
When it comes to food, think authentic Indian eats with a nod to the Middle East. That means chicken tikka with apple and mint chutney through to monkfish kebabs and aloo saag dosa. There's a fabulous selection of veggie and vegan dishes too, with the menu boasting pocket-friendly prices.
