A new gastropub for the West End, The Hebridean is the latest venue from concept-loving chef Nico Simeone. Taking over from his current Great Western Road project Public House, The Hebridean is inciting the spirit of the highlands and islands with a unique menu of locally sourced food that cultivates the values of The Hebrides.
From MacLeod Stornoway black pudding and Uig Lodge smoked salmon to Harris Gin and Hebridean seaweed, everything from the bread to the cocktails will be an homage to the islands. Even the interiors are said to be getting a spruce courtesy of some Harris Tweed, while the restaurant's location just a short walk from the teuchter triangle is sure to bring the Gaelic crowd out in force.
