Sunday Cocktail School

When it comes to fun things to do for couples in Glasgow this May, All Bar One's Sunday School is a great shout. Learn how to muddle, stir and shake up a bunch of classic cocktails, plus play games and guzzle a welcome bellini. This fantastic experience costs just £35 per person, which includes everything you will need to create your very own concoctions. You may even discover a thing or two about the history of these drinks as well.

Maggie's Rock N Rodeo

From line dancing taught by Maggie herself to the classic cowboy-themed ceilidh nights and even a saucy strip show version for good measure, Maggie's Rock N Rodeo is bringing a slice of Tennessee to Glasgow. When you're in need of things to do as a group, this fun time has you covered.

O'Neill's Merchant Square

O'Neill's Merchant Square is making sure we're well and truly entertained this month, with pub quizzes, live music performances, DJ sets and so much more. R&B Brunch GLASGOW

When you fancy a daytime party with a difference this May? Check out R&B Brunch Glasgow, where you can nab entry to the five-hour fest for just £20 each. That's hours of RnB, hip hop and dancehall tunes, with a sprinkling of UKG, club anthems, 90s and 00s alongside. There's three glasses of complimentary rum punch for the first hour, plus the chance to buy food from hosts August House when you get peckish.

Sloans

Dating back to 1797, Sloans is a gorgeous three-floor venue with a grand ballroom and garden courtyard - plus all the events that this mighty space deserves. Think EatFilm showing cult classic movies on the big screen, Sunday roasts complete with comedy for entertainment, and weekly ceilidhs so you can have a great knees-up.

Ah, spring, it really is the season for love, right? And this month, SpeedDater is holding a couple of exciting singles events in our city.
