Maison Bab is the second venture from the team behind Soho's Le
Bab. This upmarket, modern kebab shop in Covent Garden takes its
inspiration from old-school authentic kebab houses, with an
eclectic array of menu options ranging from onglet kebab with
fresh green peppercorn mayo and watercress to vegan offerings like
their slow-grilled celeriac shish with carrot puree and crispy
onions. Alongside its trademark kebabs, the restaurant offers
a range of mezze dishes, sides and desserts, as well as a creative
cocktail list, delicious wines and a selection of craft beers.
Headed up by former Le Gavroche sous chef Manu Canales Garces,
this 40-cover eatery offers a refined but relaxed dining
experience. Set over two floors, it mainly caters to walk-ins, only
taking bookings for tables of six or more people. However, Maison
Bab has the edge on its sister restaurants due to the presence of
its private dining area. Located in the basement of the venue, the
restaurant offers a 10-seater chef's table experience where diners
can watch Manu preparing their dishes.
