Green Room looks set to shake up Leeds' social scene, with a chilled hangout area, a cafe-cum-bar, a plant-based restaurant and an events space, all within an impressive historic building on Wellington Street. Masterminded by PJ Gardener and Will Harbergham, a dynamic duo with experience in the nightlife industry, the place will have a warm and relaxed feel, kitted out in reclaimed furniture, industrial decor and lots of greenery. To - literally - top it all off? A mega 1,500 square foot sun-soaked rooftop terrace.
Suitable for both working or socialising, Green Room will have a diverse range of food and drink offerings courtesy of award-winning vegan cafe, Grön. Think their famous halloumi sweet potato hash, pancakes topped with blueberries and biscoff crumb, and meat-free patties slathered in sauces.
As for drinks, local breweries such as Northern Monk, Kirkstall Brewery and Magic Rock will come to the fore, alongside a choice of cocktails like watermelon mojitos or peach margaritas. When the weekend rolls around? The fun spot will welcome in a seasonally-changing roster of late-night DJs and summertime BBQs. Sounds like this place really has it all.
