No plans for the festive season? Well, we've got exciting news for you, because Leeds is making Christmas bigger and better than ever. Millennium Square is getting its well-deserved makeover again this year, as Ice Cube returns for 2024 with a pop-up Viking bar, alpine market and ice skating.
The fabulous 400 square metre rink is open from the 22nd of November to the 31st of December. meaning there's no excuse not to show off your gliding skills over the festive period. If you fancy a few drinks or need a place to break the ice with a first date, then the spectacular Thor's Tipi is the perfect place, thanks to its alfresco offering of twinkling fairy lights, decked-out Christmas trees and roaring log fires. Plus, the watering hole will be whipping up moreish winter warmers such as hot toffee cider.
If you thought Ice Cube couldn't get any better, there are also
Alpine-inspired chalet huts delving out everything from glühwein
and German beer to Yorkshire pudding wraps or Canadian-style
poutine. Not only that, but you can also put your feet up in the
themed ski bar, where a four-metre-high illuminated bear
awaits.
Ice Cube opens on the 22nd
November 2024 and runs until the 31st of December at Millennium
