One of the best group restaurants in Leeds city centre, Mowgli can be found on Boar Lane. Created by celebrity chef Nisha Katona, this authentic Indian restaurant is inspired by street food markets, with a flavoursome menu of paneer tikka, gunpowder chicken and fenugreek-kissed fries to tuck into.

It's not just the food that's exciting here, as their Instagrammable interiors are admired up and down the country. Think indoor trees decorated with fairy lights, hanging rope swing seats and gorgeous greenery.

If it's group dining in Leeds city centre you're after, then head to Mean Eyed cat on Merrion Street. Inspired by Johnny Cash, this cool bar and restaurant has been around since 2015, styled like an American dive bar and open seven days a week.

Snack on tasty pizzas topped with everything from cheeseburgers to shredded barbecue jackfruit, paired with cracking cocktails. They offer a free pizza with every drink from 5 to 9pm, and if you roll a six on their dice you'll get 25% off your bill.
