New Bar Spy - Fat Hippo Leeds

Ready to save your lockdown hangovers one bulging burger at a time, Fat Hippo is the latest addition to the Headingly eating scene. 

This new Leeds restaurant is joining a collection of sister sites across the North of England, including venues in Sheffield, Durham and Newcastle. The USP here is a simple one: great big bloody burgers. But they're not rocking your usual topping selection, opting instead for adventurous combos, including peanut butter and jam, hoisin sauce and candied pineapple.

Alongside a range of beef and chicken burgers, you'll also find a slap-up selection of veggie and vegan options, from fried pickles and plant-based chicken nuggets, to mammoth meat-free stacks featuring Cajun fakon and hash browns.
