The Man Behind the Curtain

Description
The Man Behind the Curtain serves experimental food to Leeds.
The name of the Michelin-starred restaurant refers to a line in The Wizard of Oz ‘pay no attention to that man behind the curtain’, meaning not to think about the head chef Michael O’Hare. Instead, it’s all about the food, which is served in a twelve-course tasting menu with names like ‘The Insecurity of Postmen in Oakley Sunglasses’ and ‘Inception of a Spacecat in Black.’ There’s also a wine pairing menu to maximise the taste.
Sitting on the top floor of the Flannels building, the restaurant is minimalist, with simple furnishings and large windows that flood the room with natural light. The venue hosts a rotating contingent of street art too.
