A new venture for the Alchemist group, Aether is a speakeasy-esque cocktail bar in the heart of Liverpool. Drawing inspiration from American retro glamour, the stylish interiors are paired with live neo-soul, hip-hop and jazz music to create a stylish ambience. There is a central island bar surrounded by plush seating with an outdoor terrace for alfresco diners overlooking Chavasse Park.
The drinks boast an equal sense of opulence, with aromatic signature mixes that are inspired by the elements of air, water, fire and earth including a fiery smoked rum old fashioned and aquatic, clear Champagne colada. Even the wine list has been arranged into the elements that most suit them, allowing you to appreciate certain flavours from each glass.
