The Royal Albert Dock is playing host to a unique cinema concept this summer, offering guests the chance to catch a classic flick while floating on a pontoon.
Kicking off on the 4th August, the event programme includes Titanic, Castaway and many more that tie in with the nautical setting. There’s even Albert Dock branded blankets if it gets a little chilly, along with beanbags, deckchairs and artificial grass. Additionally, the overhead canopy will ensure screenings go ahead no matter what the weather.
Rounding it all off is the selection of refreshments available, with the Dock’s restaurant taking turns in who will provide the goods. From fish and chip cones provided by Panam to Revolución de Cuba’s mojitos and burritos, there is plenty on offer to complement the bar menu of cocktails, wine and beer.
The floating cinema takes place at Albert Dock, Liverpool, L3 4AF from 4th – 10 August, with evening screenings from 6pm. Tickets go on sale Friday 21st June, and are priced at £14.
