Description
Tate Liverpool can be found at RIBA North on Mann Island, sporting two galleries filled with innovative artwork, and home to creative talks, tours and workshops. Displays are free to visit, making it the perfect activity for those planning an affordable, cultural day out in the city.
The original gallery was built in 1988 in a converted warehouse by Albert Dock and has seen many renovations over the years. As well as showcasing exhibitions ranging from sculptures to short films, it also displays both British and contemporary art from famous painters and photographers, like Mountain Lake by Salvador Dali.
