Don’t be a sauerkraut, get on down to Liverpool’s newest restaurant Albert’s Schenke this summer. Offering a truly unique Bavarian experience, the new concept from the Mission Mars team, and little brother to Albert’s Schloss, will combine Bier Halle and Cook Haus to give Hanover Street a little extra oompah.
Bier is the main focus here, as you would expect, with sipping by the schooner, pouring by the pint and tours of the taps all possible as the Bier Halle houses over 20 different brews. From lip-smacking pilsners of Munich and Bohemia, to weiss biers and local craft creations, Albert’s Schenke is promising to become a hub for all you beer-lovers in Liverpool.
Meanwhile, the Cook Haus will bring a menu of Alpine beauties to the forefront, with melting Swiss Cheese raclette burgers and Black Forest ham, egg and chips two star dishes. There's also going to be rustic eats to match the reclaimed-wooden interiors and roaring fireplaces, such as Sformato, Schweinshaxe (try saying those out loud), Haus kebabs schnitzels, and of course, sausages.
Albert's Schenke will be hosting a Bier Festival Weekend on the 26th and 27th of July to launch the bar, complete with a special selection of beers, G&Ts and magnums of prosecco.
