Beloved Middle Eastern restaurant Maray has announced a third site will be opening this summer at Royal Albert Dock. The news follows the success of its two other locations on Bold Street and Allerton Road.
Maray’s new venture is expected to serve the same curated menu of veggie, vegan and meaty small plates inspired by the Middle East and international cuisines. Popular dishes include cauliflower with tahini, yoghurt and harissa, lamb kofta also with tahini and pine nuts, and tiger prawns with cauliflower baji, preserved lemon, labneh and dukkah. They also happen to specialise in delicious daily specials and have Sunday roasts available at their Allerton Road site, so fingers crossed they’ll make the move over too.
Maray’s selection of refreshing cocktails includes the after-dinner Agent Cooper, a twist on the espresso martini, with vodka, coffee, hazelnut, fresh espresso and chocolate bitters. There's also the zingy Hard Lemonade with blueberry, vodka, lemon, vanilla and soda, and Tommy’s Pear with OlMeca Altos blanco tequila, pear, lime, agave and bergamot, alongside a selection of other quirky creations.
