The Ladybird Bar is one of Islington's most Iconic and long standing Nightlife Venues, hidden within this gem lies The BSMT. Perfectly located opposite the Green just 3 minutes walk from Angel Station.

The BSMT is the ideal unique space for any happening, whether that be a corporate event, launch, birthday, show case, live music, any format of private event or a creative gathering.


It's It has its own DJ booth, dance floor and access, with a unique semi industrial vibe and charming decoration. This allows for the space to be dressed up to your liking or kept as it is with it's underground vibes.

As a fully stocked bar and unique private space The BSMT can be dressed to appear as a grungy urban club or a futuristic dive bar, from a cold grey room to an exciting neon & UV lights adventure. As the space is so versatile and features so many different facets, It is best to come in to see the space and it's multiple possibilities. 

The space fits up to 100 people and is an ideal location for a variety of events from birthday parties to promoted nights, The BSMT can be hired privately until 12.00am, 2am or 4am.
