The Bill Murray

Home of Angel Comedy, The Bill Murray is a gorgeous Victorian pub with a relaxed ethos, fun atmosphere, and great comedy. Located just off Essex Road, Islington, we're open from 5pm every day, serving quality beers, spirits, soft drinks, crisps, nuts and lollypops. Enjoy a drink before the show, or just come down and relax in our lovely pub.  The bar has a relaxed feel, a beer garden, and a late license. 

We are the home of Angel Comedy, which means we have shows on 7 days a week. We are London's Free Comedy club. We believe everyone should be able to see comedy. Also, you should be able to pay what you think it is worth and what you can afford. We are unique in this, which also means we often sell out.  We also understand some people like to reserve space and don't mind paying a bit in advance. As such, some of our events are completely free, some you can reserve a seat for a small fee. Regardless, every performance will have at least 10 seats for every show to be free entry (pay what you want) based on a first come, first served basis.
