To celebrate 5 years of wowing the locals of Balham with great brasserie cuisine, the owners of Harrison’s Brasserie have decided to refurbish the basement of the site to create New York Style Cocktail bar ‘Downstairs at Harrison’s’. The bar will be homage to New York Speakeasies of the 1920s prohibition era. The venue will house intimate booths, a specially designed bar running all the way along one wall and warm Jazz music to add to the warm speakeasy vibe. There will also be drinks parties, wine tasting, special dinners and other events.
To match the new look a new cocktail menu has been devised by the owners and will include great classics as well as house signatures. Expect timeless martinis, old fashioneds, mint juleps and choice premium spirits.

With brilliant cocktails; a chilled and intimate environment; relaxed and soothing jazz music; what more could you want? A highly established restaurant sits directly above the bar so there will be delicious bar snacks available for the partially famished and a fine dining option for those wanting to fill their boots. Given the strong standing in the Balham community of the restaurant, the bar will be filled with familiar faces and fans of expertly made cocktails.
