What they say:
Once the favourite recording studio of huge musical stars like Madonna, The Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix, Olympic Studios have opened their doors as a boutique cinema, cafe, private members club and restaurant. The interior design of the venue has been handled by Simone McEwan, former design director at Soho House Group, who has carefully made use of some of the original features such as the exposed brick work, wooden floors and beams to create an intimate, homely environment to visit. The dining room is fitted with low comfortable leather banquette seating which will make for a pleasant dining experience.
What we say:
Enjoy an evening out at what was formerlly one of the biggest recording studios in the world. Wind down in the Olympic Cafe and Restaurant, and indulge in a classy menu of burgers, steaks, lobster and indulgent desserts. Get involved in the cool cocktails that are on offer: how about the East Side Pickford with Havana 7, pineapple shrub, lime juice, bitters and caramelised pineapple? As a somewhat consecrated space, Olympic Cafe and Restaurant never fails to attract a stylish crowd of serious music fans, celebrating the history of the building whilst enjoying dinner, drinks and a movie.
