What they say:
A new taproom, bottle shop and bar rolled into one; Mother Kelly's will offer East London revellers the chance to enjoy a drink in quirky and atmospheric surroundings. Dropping anchor under a railway arch in Bethnal Green, the powers-that-be have gone to great lengths to ensure the beers are sourced with great care. There's no reservations or formal procedures here; just swing by with your mates, enjoy a quality tipple and have a bit of a laugh.
What we say:
The guys at Mother Kelly's have been very keen to keep their opening as quiet as possible, which goes some way to suggesting what kind of venue it will turn out to be. Shying away from the spotlight and instead focusing on delivering a quirky and unique drinking experience, Bethnal Green's latest retreat is sure to win favour with a hip and creative East London crowd. A great new addition to the Bethnal Green area that will suit after work drinks and catching up with friends over a delicious pint.
