What they say:
Having closed in 2016 for the redevelopment of its Rivington Street premises, NOLA has found a new home on Bethnal Green's Roman Road. The New Orleans-inspired cocktail bar, which opens for business next month, will have great vintage decor - Tiffany lamps, panelled walls, exposed brick and original fireplaces. Alongside offering some of the best Hurricanes in the UK, there will be a 70-cover restaurant serving delicious Cajun and Creole cuisine, with the kitchen headed up by NOLA newcomer Chef 'Dom' Dominique, former Head Chef for Bruno Loubet’s Grain Store and Zetter Hotel bistro.
What we say:
Re-housed inside a former Thai restaurant in Bethnal Green, London's favourite New Orleans-inspired cocktail bar is ready to make a big comeback. NOLA will re-open next month on Roman Road with more blues, jazz, cocktails and Cajun and Creole cooking. Delving even further into the classic cocktails made famous throughout the city, and beyond, the new and improved drinks menu will see an extended list of Hurricanes, as well as a series created by famed New Orleans bartenders (and writers), and even a collection of alcohol-free takes on NOLA classics.
