Tucked away on the first floor of Benito's Hat on Leadenhall Street, this secretive and sophisticated drinking den only comes out to play once the sun has gone down. The powers-that-be at The President's Bar have drawn upon their experiences of a Mexican tequila distillery to put together an alluring cocktail bar serving up elegant cocktails that you'd be hard pressed to find elsewhere in the city. Their signature Mojito and Mexican-style Espresso Maritini are their pride and joy, but there's also a good range of bottled craft ales too. Think this one's all about the cocktails? Think again; Resident DJs will be out in force on Thursday evenings playing the latest and greatest house tunes.

With sophisticated cocktails, carefully sourced craft ales and pumpin' DJ nights on Thursday's, there's a lot to like about this clandestine watering hole. The bar offers up a range of drinks that you can't find in any old local boozer, and in limiting it's open hours to only when the sun goes down, there's a vibrant feel to this Aldgate retreat. Expect to mingle with a cool crowd of revellers - how else would they know this place existed?
