The last NO FILTER of the year promises to be a big one as comedy’s “LADY MUCK” herself, LAUREN PATTISON, spreads Christmas joy on the 14th OF DECEMBER at THE DOGSTAR. 2017 has been a BREAKTHROUGH year for everyone’s favourite Geordie as she stormed the Edinburgh Fringe emerging with the MOST CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED show of the Festival and has since opened for KATHERINE RYAN on tour and taken ‘LADY MUCK’ to India and Istanbul. We’re all extremely excited to have her close the last show of 2017 and you should be too. The weekly night, in association with BRIXTON BREWERY aims to blend an eclectic mix of established comedians on the circuit with exciting up and coming breakthrough acts from the London scene. Getting in formation with LAUREN PATTISON are KELLY CONVEY, LEAH GRUBER, KATHRYN MATHER, LILY PHILIPS, FATIHA EL GHORRI, AMY MASON, LIZ GUTERBOCK and our legendary RESIDENT HOST CATHERINE BOHART.
LAUREN PATTISON
Lauren Pattison is effortlessly likeable and relatable, blending millennial chat with more worldly issues like mental health, loneliness and hungover supermarket woes. It's confessional but never preachy, even when talking about topics like sexism in the comedy industry and self-worth. One thing's for sure: Pattison, the BBC New Comedy Award Finalist, need not worry about competing with boys on the circuit.
