Brixton Market Row Makes History with "Electric Avenue Rock Down" NYE Block Party
Brixton, London – December 29, 2024
For the first time ever, Brixton Market Row will close to traffic, transforming into a massive block party for "Electric Avenue Rock Down" this New Year's Eve. This unprecedented event, running from 9 PM to 3 AM, is a celebration of transatlantic culture, spearheaded by the Harlem Brewing Taproom.
"Brixton Markets are thrilled to support our independent local businesses taking over for this exciting night," says Market Row Manager Vedrana Jukicic. "This is just the beginning, so join us for the inauguration!"
The night promises a vibrant fusion of experiences:
Taste of Harlem: Enjoy Harlem Brewing Company's signature "125th Street IPA" and other exclusive brews.
Global Beats: Dance to @sterlingreigns end-of-year special edition of 'Mixology,' a dynamic upbeat program with sounds of Africa mixed with club classics, Hiphop anthems, and Latino sounds.
"We're bringing the spirit of Harlem to Brixton this NYE, mixing up our shared music, values, and daring," says Harlem Brewery Taproom manager Mircea Bobi.
"Electric Avenue Rock Down" arrives as a beacon of hope following recent closures of prominent Brixton businesses. It's a chance to celebrate the resilience of local businesses and ring in the new year with a transatlantic twist.

5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
