Founded by bartenders (and cocktail power couple) Bart and Monika Miedeksza, Crossroads is a brand new underground bar coming to Camden this July. Taking over from what was once Ladies and Gentlemen, the subterranean newbie lies in the old Victorian Public toilets at the intersection between Camden Road and Royal College Street.
Soon to be a neighbourhood hangout, the North London spot promises everything from wine and whisky to mixed drinks made using locally-sourced ingredients.
On the cocktail front, expect classic like gimlets and highballs alongside their twist on an old fashioned - aka the Pepper - which pairs rye whiskey and bianco vermouth with a house-made black pepper shrub. Not spicy enough? There's an apple, banana and habanero-tipped creation to give your tastebuds a proper kick.
Gooseberries foraged in the garden? Hand-cut ice? It's all in the details here. We even hear there's a tea-infused number on the menu.
