The Lockdown Room is a venue established in 2020, located in the heart of London City Island and just a two minute walk from Canning Town station (Jubilee Line and DLR). They host events every week, from Bottomless Brunches, to Live Music Fridays, Quiz Nights & so much more. With an excellent range of cocktails, craft beers, wine offers - there's something for everyone.
Food? They've got that too. In-house street food trader, Juk Pou, offers Chinese Comfort Food perfect for sharing platters for your party or opt for some canapés curated by their Head Chef.
Fancy hosting your own event? They've got you covered with a range of different spaces, perfect for a private party, corporate hire and anything in between.

Depending on your party space, we will dedicate an area from our 1708 mezzanine lounge extending onto our ground floor, with the option to take over this entire space up to our side entrance. Prefer something more secluded? The Lockdown Room's cozy Mezzanine is the perfect spot for groups of up to 30 people to relax with a drink and unwind. Comfy sofa's and warm lighting give the Mezzanine Lounge a homely aesthetic. If you know, you know. Our 1708 Mezzanine area is inspired by the early days of The Lockdown Room. Most of the furnishing’s actually came from managing director Dan’s old flat (number 1708), where the team were often based before we had the unit and would operate in the main square. Designed with ultimate house party vibes in mind, our lounge area is accessed via a private staircase and has a ‘living room’ with TV, comfy sofa and chairs, a dining table, and kitchen area featuring a Smeg fridge and island with bar stools. Perfect to hire for a VIP viewing experience for big sporting events or just a casual party, we can make sure the fridge is fully stocked with beers, wine and canned cocktails for your arrival. |
