The infamous Throgmorton's Swing House is a prohibition-style cocktail bar and Speakeasy in the heart of the city. Every day of the week, Swing House brings the elegance and class of the roaring twenties to life in an intimate bar/lounge setting serving old-style cocktails and vintage spirits. From the second week in December 2021, you can venture downstairs to the Swing House Speakeasy for live acts, performers, jazz & swing dancers and retro DJs until the early hours.

A classic high-end bar, beautifully crafted inside the ground floor of 27b Throgmorton Street. This charming Grade II* listed building is situated on the north side of a busy thoroughfare in the heart of the City. It is thought to be the work of the architect Herbert Williams and was constructed largely in the nineteenth century and incorporates some older building fabrics. It includes many original features such as the bank vaults in the basement and a restored early twentieth-century lift cage. Definitely an Intimate space for private events from team socials, celebrations, music parties, live shows, and corporate events. The venue is split into 2 bars on different floors: The Bar and The Speakeasy.
