Description
Fields is the new cafe opening up in Clapham Common, and the little sister to the lovely, friendly M1LK cafe. It's open all day, with space for 30 people inside, but more excitingly, 80 people can squeeze in up on their roof terrace. This ace cafe space at an altitude is not only be heated, so suitable for perennial sit-ins, but also feature a tasty herb garden.
The focus at this cafe-bar is on friendliness and sustainability, meaning that local, ethical produce is used wherever possible. So that herb garden upstairs aint just a pretty face; it goes into making the meals Fields' customers are chomping on all year long. Recipes are seasonal, ever changing and experimental - but always hearty and tasty of course. Drinks-wise, small breweries are championed, and lovely wines, alcoholic slushies and even homemade ginger beer come served until closing time. A neat spot down South for some chilled out eats and drinks.
