The new and renovated Canela is set to open its doors very soon and will shower Covent Garden with some Portuguese flavour. The updated slick and sophisticated venue is now situated over two streets; by day it will be a lively deli and by night a delightful wine bar and restaurant. Canela will be serving authentic Portuguese dishes with a modern twist, and the menu will include regional classics and specialities which will all be developed from original recipes and family favourites. Not only will the venue serve up flavoursome food, but the wine list is said to be a showstopper. Expect a wide variety of high quality Portuguese wines which will all be carefully chosen from different regions and small vineyards by the owners themselves.
