If you'd told us a few months ago that London's hottest new hotel opening would be in Dalston, we wouldn't have believed you. But between Impeachment V2 and the possibility of pints with your jab, anything can happen in 2021. In fact, we should have seen this coming because the bustling East London area is already home to some of the city's edgiest bars and restaurants. And now? Kraft Dalston has joined the ranks to bring you beer, gin and fancy kebabs in an industrial chic setting.
Located within the new Kingsland Locke hotel, the sprawling venue is a collaboration between German Kraft Brewery, Jim & Tonic Distillery and Le Bab. Pull up a pew at the bar or get cosy on a plush sofa as you peruse the menu of fusion dishes, quirky kebabs and unusual plates like 'Turkish' Korean fried chicken or chipotle tahini broccoli. As for the drinks list, expect sustainable sips from classic cocktails to the 'hazy' pale ale, with beer and gin produced in the on-site brewpub and distillery.
And for the ultimate post-lockdown outing? Check in on the weekend for a quirky stay soundtracked by music from live DJs.
